The Virtuous Woman was virtuous before she was married; her virtue is what attracted her husband to her, meaning that while she was in waiting, she was preparing and working on herself through the Holy Ghost that works to keep her virtuous. However, what has helped the “Virtuous Woman” stay virtuous in her marriage is that she and her husband are partners and lovers in every since of what marriage is meant to be. Marriage is a gift from God uniting not just the flesh together for physical enjoyment, but also uniting and tying the souls together so that the 2 can now become 1. Marriage is meant to be between 1 man and 1 woman for a lifetime, which is illustrated in the scripture Genesis, 2:24, “Therefore shall a man leave his Father and his Mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be 1 flesh.” Nowhere in this scripture does God say that men are to marry more than one woman, you only have 1 soul and that 1 soul ties to the 1 wife that you take to be yours, your gift from God until death do you part. (Parting at death is when the soul separates and prepares for the calling of Heaven or Hell). In Proverbs 31:10-29, the Virtuous Woman has a virtuous family because they are happy and this is evident because the children rise and call her blessed, her husband recognizes that she is a gift because he praises her, which means he compliments her as well as supports her. While he is sitting at the city gate with the elders maintaining his position of authority (Proverbs 31:23), his wife is running her business of family as well as expanding her enterprise, “she considers a field and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard” (Proverbs 31:16). Her husband knows that she does not intend evil for him, therefore making this decision on her own is a decision that suggests her Husband has total confidence in all of her decisions because she did not ask him if she could purchase the field, the scripture says she “Considered a field and buyeth it,” (Proverbs 31:16) Now, for the extremely Holy ones, that are reading this today, according to the Merriam-Websters Dictionary, Consider means “to think about carefully: as to think of especially with regards to taking some action. The Virtuous Woman did this and her husband supported her. In a mature marriage and or a marriage that was committed for the right reasons, there is support between husband and wife which produces evidence through the success of the communication between the two as well as through the results of the children and family unit in general.
