“For I know the Plans I have for you.” Jeremiah 29:11

We constantly ask God, “What is your will for my life?” or “What is my purpose, what is it that I am meant to do?” Most of the time our purpose or assignment  is right there before us, but because we are so accustom to the world’s way of giving an assignment, with God speaking in a big booming voice, thunder and lightning crackling in the sky, we miss the opportunity to do something great for someone else.

We are so set upon looking for the great wind, earthquake and fire, not understanding that God is a “Gentleman,” (gentle man, for we were made in his image and likeness Genesis 1:26). God’s voice is mighty, yet soft, his will is perfect, yet unknown, his timing is excellent, yet irregular, “God hath chosen the foolish things to confound the wise,” (1Cor 1:27).

God, Our Father in Heaven is just as he said he is, “I Am that I Am,”(Exodus 3:14). Listen for the the still small voice and look not for the burning bush because times have changed and the entire world is the burning bush speaking in the great strong wind, continuing confusion in the earthquake, while hiding it’s identity in the fire.

God Bless You,
In Jesus Name!
